My senior project, Captis, was a mandatory requirement for graduation, which I completed after returning from an internship in Alaska with Spawn Ideas. During my time there, I observed that despite the stunning scenery, the fragility of the cameras posed a problem. It struck me as counterintuitive that in order to capture breathtaking shots, one had to handle delicate equipment with utmost care. This realization motivated me to design the concept of a weatherproof, waterproof, lightweight, and durable DSLR camera that could withstand harsh conditions. Thus, I developed the concept of Captis and crafted its brand identity, opting for a lively and inviting aesthetic to appeal to my target audience of adventurous and creative individuals.
