In my Graphic Design program's third year, we had to concept branding and packaging for a company that could be sold in convenience stores. For this assignment, I designed Flowered, a feminine hygiene brand that uses only biodegradable materials. To make the applicators more environmentally friendly, I used soy-based plastic that decomposes faster than regular plastic. I also embedded wildflower seeds in the packaging's paper so that it would decompose, leaving behind the seeds when discarded in landfills. Wildflowers play a crucial role in addressing environmental issues related to landfills, such as soil erosion, water quality, and the reintroduction of pollinators.
