During my second year in the Graphic Design program, we were given an assignment to create a company concept based on an animal. I chose bees and coffee because the production of coffee relies heavily on bees for pollination. Bean and Honey is a coffee company that I designed for this project, which has multiple small chain coffee shops located throughout California. The company only buys coffee grown specifically in California and takes a stand to raise awareness about declining bee populations. A portion of their sales proceeds goes towards supporting organizations that focus on these environmental issues. Bean and Honey is an inclusive coffee shop that welcomes everyone, from those who want a quick cup of coffee in the morning to those studying in the evening.
